What is Olm?

This is the name of the cave salamander. This animal has several unique characteristics that fit with the concept of an innovative medical clinic:

Regeneration. These salamanders are not susceptible to cancerous illnesses and possess the remarkable ability to regenerate lost organs or body parts.

Adaptability and longevity. They can endure challenging conditions for several years without sustenance and boast a lifespan exceeding a century.

Sharp senses aid them in navigating darkness and handling situations of uncertainty.
Why we’re
doing this
We understood that slogans like 'Patient First' and 'Innovative Healthcare' often amount to mere marketing ploys. Consequently, our focus is on genuinely addressing people's health needs and aiding them in overcoming the challenges posed by illness.

Cardiologist
The concept of Olm Clinic originated from the founder, Martynas Bendorius, who drew inspiration from his personal encounters with the healthcare system. Confronting illness, he encountered numerous frustrations, prompting him to delve into both his own health challenges and medical innovations.
It appears that numerous illnesses necessitate years of searching for an accurate diagnosis. For instance, women experiencing symptoms of endometriosis typically endure an average wait of up to eight years before receiving a precise diagnosis
M. Bendorius' experience of being in the patient's shoes resonated with doctor M. Gedminas frustration with the stagnant system. It was clear that something in the system needed to change fundamentally.
In Lithuania, the field of medicine has regressed into a self-serving enterprise, losing sight of its paramount mission—to address people's health issues. When Martynas Bendorius presented me with specific ideas once again, I carefully considered the proposition.
